"I've been working with Brittany Sweet of Intuitive Wolf K9 Training for a couple months now with my reactive rescue dog (pittbull). I had, in the past, worked with other trainers upon adopting him for basic obedience, but when the reactivity began, I knew I needed someone who specialized in this behavior.  He is my first bully breed dog, and everyone knows that it's one thing to have a lab or golden that's acting up, but a completely different story if it is a misunderstood bully breed.  I wanted to nip it in the bud immediately. 
    I made Brittany aware of my lifestyle (traveling, and camping in groups with other dogs), and what I hoped to accomplish with the training. The outline of our training was made completely clear to me, and I was/am completely on board with her methods. Django's reactivity may never go away, but the way he responds to his triggers has completely changed. There is no reaction. He knows what's expected of him. It's enough to get him out in public and work on easing his reactivity through slow exposure and that is more than I was ever able to do before.
    Django is super excited for every session, and now that his time has come to an end, I know that Brittany will be there for advice if anything comes up, and he always is welcome to the group classes. We work hard daily, and the progress shows. I have had labs my entire life, and Django blows them all out of the water with his behavior in crowds now. "I’ve known Brittany since we attended high school together at Essex back in the early 2000’s. Since our graduation I went on to serve 12 years in the united States Marine Corps as an infantry rifleman, and completed 5 combat tours. I got into dogs when they introduced the IDD program to the infantry and had the opportunity to work with black labs that were explosives trained while operating in Afghanistan. Since then I continued to pursue my interest in working with dogs in all capacities, having worked with some of the most elite special forces units of not only the USA but of allied nations abroad as well.

I say all that to say this: with all of the training and experience that I have with dogs, there are very few that surpass Brittany’s ability to connect with a dog and find the best methods to communicate with that dog on a primal level to achieve some miraculous results. Her intuition and understanding of animal behavior is engrained in her lifestyle and it shows when she works with canines. Most trainers that I’ve met in the course of my 15 year career train the animal in ways more akin to operating a machine; they just don’t truly understand why dogs do what they do, or animal behavior in the least. Brittany is worlds apart from that, understanding that relationship, trust and consistency paired with a solid training methodology will produces not only amazing results, but also lasting ones that don’t depend on equipment or outside forms of motivation.

Brittany trains your dog for the individual that it is, and doesn’t lump it into the masses like most trainers out there.
